Na última terça-feira (12), foi apresentado o MTV Video Music Awards 2023 em Nova Jersey, nos Estados Unidos. A premiação evidencia a cada ano os trabalhos de maior destaque na música e conta com muitas performances de artistas em alta na indústria.
Este ano a cerimônia foi marcada pela vitória de Taylor Swift em 8 categorias, bem como a primeira vitória de Anitta no VMA por Melhor Latino com “Funk Rave“. Shakira também foi destaque ao ser homenageada com o troféu Vanguard Award, concedido a artistas que contribuíram de forma excepcional para a música.
Além da entrega dos troféus, a cerimônia contou com apresentações de vários artistas: Anitta, Nicki Minaj, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, Cardi B com Megan Thee Stallion, Diddy, Fall Out Boy, Olivia Rodrigo, Stray Kids, Lil Wayne, NAV, Doja Cat, NLE Choppa com Nelly, Future, Demi Lovato, Karol G, Peso Pluma e Måneskin, dentre outros.
